Reassured
Well, of course I had to google some more about hCG levels and luckily found some quite reliable sites that were able to reassure me that 55 is actually a pretty ok number and that you basically can't say anything after just one hCG test. So a new waiting period starts - 5 days until Monday - but for the moment I'm pregnant!

Did you test with a home pregnancy test also?
pj - I did POAS this morning, just to be sure I'm still pregnant, was a little disappointed that the line wasn't darker, but it was definitely there...
Hi there, saw your comment on PJs blog. I freaked when my lines didn't get darker each day and my first beat was around 49. It doubled and the next test it more than doubled so hang in there!
